 When The Titanic sank in 1912 a number of films where produced by
independents to cash in on this tragic event. The first on this video Captain
Smith of The Titanic shows Smith walking the bridge of The Titanic 's Sister ship
made to look like the Titanic. Also included is footage of Titanic crew survivors
arriving in New York as well as shots of the Carpathia's Captain and Crew. The
Second film, superior to the first and more accurate, is called "Titanic Leaving
Belfast Lough". The Third film is a late '20's, untitled newsreel, that shows
scenes from the first film and added narration and additional footage of an
